Greetings! Thanks for visiting my blog-in-progress! I am feeling much like I imagine my great-grandmother felt the first time she got on Facebook. After being out of the blogosphere for something like a year, I didn't think it would be THAT hard to pick back up and start a new one. WRONG. It took me three days just to get to the point of actually being able to WRITE TEXT into this page! Web designer I am not.

This brings us to the namesake of my internet mess. When me and Sister were little, the phrase I think I heard most often out of Mother was, "This room looks like a tornado went off in here!!!!" And, since there's no rhyme or reason to what I like to post about, I figure this page probably looks like a virtual tornado just the same. Plus, Chad and I live on top of a ridge and I am told if there is a real twister coming our way, we could see it before anyone else. I wanted this blog to feel like an actual PLACE to visit, so I wanted its name to be just like a real address! The numbers in the title, 62 (or 6/2) is the date Chad and I went on our first date (awwwww).

Our world is a place of happy insanity. Or at least I think so. I moved to central Arkansas to be closer to Chad in 2011, we got engaged in October 2012, and we have recently acquired two fur-children, June and Darla.

Chad is a pharmacist and I'm a recruiter for an oil and gas services company. We spend most of our time chasing the aforementioned fur-children, but otherwise we are always in the middle of 3 or 4 house remodeling projects or are on the road going SOMEWHERE all the time. I also dabble in some pinterest crafting, and I like to cook when I have a good recipe in front of me. You'll probably also see posts from time to time about my recruiter-isms....I've learned a few tricks in this career that I've used to help friends build up their resumes or survive job interviews, and sometimes I like to rant about them in print!
